About The Event

Join our host Alejandro and the Techstars alumni tech founder community at this exclusive conversation with our special guest Eran Shir co-founder and CEO of Nexar. Nexar turns cars into vision-sensors to understand the world. Its platform powers car vision connected services and apps, at scale, making new vision-based applications for better driving, powered by a crowd-sourced vision feed.

Previous to founding Nexar, Eran co-founded and served as CEO of Dapper, until it was acquired by Yahoo!.

Guest Background

At the beginning of 2015, Eran Shir was the entrepreneur in residence at Aleph, a Tel Aviv-based venture capital firm, where Eran Shir focused on big-data, crypto-currencies and market disruption.

Eran Shir also was the senior director and head of the creative innovation center at Yahoo!, where he was responsible for their creative advertising technologies strategy and portfolio, as well as the development of their next-generation personalized creative advertising platform.

Now, with Nexar, he has raised $100M from top tier investors to make every car smart and build the world’s safe driving network.

Our conversations take place over a Zoom call, not a webinar, so there is space to share experiences and ask for advice. The event will be carried out as a fireside chat for 30 minutes plus a 20 minute Q&A.
