Guest Background

Doug Levin, a technology and business expert in AI, cybersecurity, digital fraud detection, and the blockchain, serves on the Board of Directors of ReversingLabs, FiVerity, and SmartOne. Additionally, he contributes as a Board Advisor to Resec and Dowsers. At the Harvard Business School, he currently serves as an Executive Fellow and teaches entrepreneurship. 

Levin was the sole founder and first CEO of Black Duck Software, a pioneer in open-source software license compliance and malware threat detection (acquired by Synopsys in 2017). Levin also held senior positions at Microsoft over a nine-year period. He also worked on the original Apple Macintosh development team. He is the author of "Lessons from a Startup Life" – a blog and podcast on Substack.
