Guest Background

Ben Golub is the CEO of Storj Labs, a leader in blockchain-based cloud storage.

He brings over 20 years of experience leading technology companies and is a sought-after advisor in the blockchain and decentralized storage space.

Golub began his career in the early days of the internet, when he co-founded two internet companies, both of which were successful. He then went on to serve as CEO of several technology companies, including LogMeIn, Inc., Plaxo, Inc., and Gluster, Inc.

In 2014, Golub became the CEO of the Bitcoin wallet company, Blockstream. He left Blockstream in 2017 to become the CEO of Storj Labs. Golub has been instrumental in driving the success of Storj, helping to launch their decentralized cloud storage platform and leading the company’s fundraising efforts. Golub is a respected figure in the blockchain community, speaking at conferences and events around the world.

He also serves on the board of several blockchain-related companies, including Brave Software, the decentralized web browser. Golub holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Our conversations take place over a Zoom call, not a webinar, so there is space to share experiences and ask for advice. The event will be carried out as a fireside chat for 30 minutes plus a 20 minute Q&A.
